Scale
the scale of jv's turnings are difficult to appreciate in a simple photo.
basic dimensions can be deceptive, as they only suggest volume.
these photos are a great visual to help undersand the size of larger
turnings in the catalpa and maple series. however, nothing beats
seeing them in person...
