Hand-made Tiles Part Deux

we finally finished our tiles for the backing of our wood
stove! this took a while so we want to thank our friend
philip harris, for his expertise & patience.
phil allowed us to use his clay studio to accomplish this project.
we had a great time and hope we can talk him
into letting us make more tiles for our kitchen...

we made approximately 400+ tiles (i think we lost count at some
point), we had to sand every edge & glaze every single tile.

we brought them home, set them & grouted them...the
final result is even better than we had imagined.

stay tuned for photos of the finished project...
