Friends Of Historic Kingston

We recently made our donation to Animal Kind in Hudson NY.
Thank you for all of your support, to help us support,
non-profit organizations whose cause & message we believe in.

Through our community here in Kingston, we are connecting
with really wonderful people & learning a lot.

Friends of Historic Kingston is a not-for-profit organization
whose members share a common trait: they care about preserving and promoting
the history and heritage of Kingston, New York.

They exist to preserve historical and architecturally significant
buildings and sites in the City of Kingston; promote and foster interest in the
historical heritage and beauty of Kingston; acquire, preserve and exhibit materials
relating to regional history and culture.

We are happy to announce that for the next six months (july - january) we will be
working towards making a donation to the Friends of Historic Kingston through
sales of our cutting boards & oils.

The Fred J Johnston Museum - the house was built by
Sen. John Sudam in 1812. In 1993 the noted American
Antiques dealer, Fred J Johnston, bequeathed the house
along with Johnston's collection of 18th and 19th century
American Antiques, Decorative Arts, and Paintings to the
Friend's of Historic Kingston to serve as a Museum, an example
of how one may preserve a historic property, and as training
ground for how to live with Antiques.

The Friends of Historic Kingston has worked tirelessly since
1965 to promote the Preservation of Historic Structures within the
City of Kingston. FHK has accomplished this task through its yearly
Exhibitions, Educational Programing and partnerships with other organizations
throughout the City of Kingston and beyond.
